YPSILANTI, MI - June 16, 2003 - Freedom Imaging Systems (Freedom) certifies Castelle’s FaxPress to utilize Freedom’s FaxCapture solution. FaxPress sends, receives, archives and routes outgoing and incoming faxes. Upon receiving a fax, it saves it as an image (.tif file), allowing users to view faxes electronically instead of on paper. FaxCapture then imports the faxes into the RICAR system.
FaxPress, an integrated network fax solution, is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange Server, and Office. It acts as a server on the network, which provides workstations with access to incoming and outgoing faxes, phonebooks, transaction logs and other fax-related data. FaxCapture saves these records into Freedom’s report storage and retrieval system allowing you to easily access and track faxes right from your PC.
