PSA provides billing services for pathology laboratories throughout the United States. Utilizing RICAR’s (Record, Image, Capture And Retrieval) document management applications, PSA will enjoy a paperless work environment. PSA staff will have instant search and retrieval to all of their customer requisitions and documents and the ability to perform all billing data entry functions paperlessly (also known as KFI (key from image)).
The robust workflow solution FreeWf, handles highly complex and sophisticated business processes as well as production and management of electronic records. FreeWf reduces billing-related bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies of paper-based workflows. Med3000’s PSA will now be able to reduce Days in Sales Outstanding for their customers by automating and expediting the workflow process and create a more efficient and accurate billing data work process.
FreeWf will also allow Med3000 to manage employees more effectively. The automated workflow application records user names, access date & time, and user activity. Remote access to FreeWf allows employees to process documents from outside of the organization’s work environment allowing users to view and retrieve information anywhere with a secure internet connection.
While the RICAR suite was originally designed for clinical laboratories, it can be used in any organization to digitally archive documents and files, and efficiently and accurately automate and expedite any type of business process.
