YPSILANTI, MI - September 3, 2003 Freedom Imaging Systems (Freedom), one of the leading data management and solutions developers in the United States, announces the release of FreeLoader, the newest addition to Freedom’s Record Image Capture and Retrieval (RICAR) suite.
FreeLoader, has the ability to import any file from any application directly into our archival and management system while eliminating the inefficient process of printing for scanning. Freedom’s FreeLoader converts application files such as Word, Excel, and PDF’s to standard TIFF images that preserve document quality that may be lost when scanning paper documents. These archival quality TIFF images are created and stored for viewing in Freedom’s FreeViewer application.
The addition of FreeLoader enhances RICAR’s capabilities to now include an easy and efficient process to store and manage permanent copies of electronic documents. It rids the costly, time-consuming extra steps in printing and scanning electronic documents. With FreeLoader, managing your computer files is just as easy as managing your paper documents.
